IG VC (Imperious Group VC) is a $25 mln. venture capital fund focused on early-stage investments into prominent ambitious companies with outstanding founders.

Since 2013, IG VC has funded over 40 startups and have helped to create 700+ tech jobs.

ABOUT IG VC
  • We are focusing on early stage startups (pre-seed, seed investments. Rarely – for Round A).
  • Investment range:
    $50K-200K (average ticket size for Seed stage), $1M (for Round A).
  • We prefer teams with R&D based in:
    CEE (with a big focus on Ukraine) or Israel.
  • We target teams with products oriented on global markets: Europe, USA, Asia.
  • We do not practice intervention in operational processes but will ask a company for reports.
  • We don't have industry limits for our investments but we more open for startups from such areas and with such expertise like: AI/ML, BigData, VR/AR, EdTech, AdTech, Digital Health, SaaS, FinTech, Blockchain.

Accounting and audit professional with an experience in:

– external auditing of large manufacturing companies, banks and other financial service companies (companies of BIG4);

– in-house accounting and auditing of a largest Ukrainian energy monopolist and one of the largest telecommunication company in Ukraine;

– financial controlling of investments made to VC projects; consultations to the projects on the correctness of preparation of financial reports; consultation on issues dealt with tax accounting.

Current focuses: accounting and audit of portfolio companies financial results; implementing international standards and financial clarity for easing future fundraising efforts of portfolio companies.
DMYTRO DOVHAL
Managing partner
A VC professional and management consultant with the distinctive interest in IT — technologies and startups, strategic and startup consulting (Civitta, Startups EU, Horizon 2020) experience in investment banking and government area. More than 30 investments in technology startups and companies.

Current focuses: startups strategy, operations, marketing and sales, analytics, financial planning and funding.

Interests: SaaS, marketplaces, AI/ML, VR/AR.
